Photographer Marlene Marino first came to our attention through her hauntingly intimate book detailing a 16-year old Cuban girl’s world for Purple Magazine. Marino has shot campaigns for Porsche and worked for top fashion magazines, but it is her personal black and white images that boldly illustrate the seductive power of beauty and youth. We came across this video a few weeks ago and had to post it. Technically it is a little old now but this level of creativity never gets stale. This is a video/art collaboration between artist David Ellis and underground hip-hop player Blu. It’s a bit longer than most YouTube videos but it is well worth it. Enjoy the long weekend.
